The Old Woods

Somewhere between working on my Christmas palette and getting completely distracted by autumn, The Old Woods happened. And I regret nothing. 🍄

A set of four handmade watercolors inspired by an old woodland slowly changing with the season:

🌼 Goldenrod, a glowing autumn yellow
🍒 Wild Rosehip,  a warm transparent red
🌳 Ancient Oak,  a deep woodland brown
🌿 Old Ivy, a soft, muted forest green

All four colors have beautiful texture and slight granulation, but the real magic happens when you let them meet on the paper. They blend into mossy greens, rusty oranges, warm earthy browns and all those gorgeous in-between colors you find on the forest floor in autumn.

Inside the set

• 4 handmade watercolor half pans
• An A6 colouring page
• A matching “The Old Woods” sticker

Each paint is handmade in small batches in my studio in the Netherlands, poured in multiple layers and left to dry between each pour.

A very small number of full pan sets are also available for those who prefer a little more paint.

This is a pre-order. Your paints will be freshly made, poured and dried before shipping. Please allow time for all those layers to dry properly. Handmade watercolor refuses to be rushed.
