Handmade Paints - Instructions and Safety

Instructions and care tips:

Add a few drops of water before use. Give it some time to settle. Go make yourself a nice drink and set-up your other supplies. Once activated, the paint will melt on your brush.

FOR BEST GRANULATION: Handmade paint behaves differently than big brand paints. The paint is poured in tiny layers and without the use of stabilizers. While drying, heavy pigments can sink to the bottom of the layer. Once your paint is activated, give it a good whirl with your brush. Use a mixing palette and a lot of water to achieve the best results. Play around with your paint to water ratio, experiment, and don’t forget to have fun.

Paints can crack over time because we don’t use stabilizers. This happens sometimes due to the natural shrinkage and humidity. This does not affect the quality of the paint.
